In Surah al-Baqarah (2:120), Allah, Al-Hadi (The Guide), tells us to proclaim that His Guidance is the Guidance (al-Huda), the only true Guidance. This lovely statement restricts the guidance to Allah Alone, meaning other religions are devoid of true guidance; rather they are full of desires and ignorance. This is part of the ayat in which says that the Jews and the Christians will never be pleased with us until we become a Jew or a Christian. And we will never do that, inshallah. Al-Hadi has given the world al-Huda. “Allah’s guidance is a guidance which is not adulterated with superstitions and wrong thoughts of ignorant people. Yes, such pure noble guidance should be followed.” And Allah calls upon all the worlds to accept Islam and become a Muslim. “…The only law which can lead man towards salvation and happiness is the law and guidance of Allah, because to whatever extent the knowledge of man progresses, it is still interwoven with ignorance, doubt and deficiency from the points of view of various aspects. Hence, the guidance which comes forth under the shade of such incomplete knowledge cannot be considered an absolute guidance. The only One Who can provide Absolute Guidance ‘is the One Who possesses Absolute Knowledge,’ without any ignorance or imperfection. This Attribute applies only to Allah.” May we also call the people to Allah, Al-Hadi, Al-Haqq (The Truth), inshallah.
