In Surah al-Aqhaf (46:33), Allah, Al-Khaliq wa Al-Qadir (The Creator and The All-Powerful), tells us in a question that He is lam ya’a (not powerless), taken from the word ‘ayy (powerlessness). It is often translated into English as tired, weary. Al-Khaliq created the Heavens and the Earth without any difficulty because He is Al-Qadir. So why do people think that giving life to the dead is harder than creating the whole universe, including everything and everyone on the Earth? “In order to conceive the inevitability of Resurrection, it would suffice to notice the Infinite Divine Omnipotence.” Of course, due to the “disbelievers’ imperfect intellect,” this is unintelligible to them and they attempt “in vain to deny and/or restrict Divine Omnipotence” and thus interpret wrongly.
