In Surah al-Ghashiyah (88:21-22), Allah, Al-Jabbar (The Compeller), tells us in the beginning of this surah about the Day of Resurrection and the destinies of the good and evil in the Hereafter. Then The Creator talks about the wonderment of His creation of the camel, the sky, the mountains and the Earth, relating this to Tawhid (monotheism). In these two ayats, He instructs Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) to “So remind. Innama Anta Mudhakkirun. (Only You are a Reminder.) You are not a dictatorial ruler over them.” Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala has a plan and a purpose for His creation of everything and everyone. Prophet Muhammad’s (peace and blessings be upon him) “mission is to make people acquainted with the goal of that creation” with his reminders “and lead them to the path of development and nearness to Allah. Of course, the path of development is paved when [we] do it willingly and without any outer forces, otherwise it is meaningless.” He cannot force us to obey our Sustainer, Al-Jabbar, “and even if he could, it would be useless.” (See An Enlightening Commentary into the Light of the Holy Qur’an, Vol. 20, compiled by a group of Muslim scholars, under the direction of Ayatullah Allamah Al- Hajj Sayyid Kamal Faqih Imani, Accessed from https://www.al-islam.org/enlightening-commentary-light-holy-quran-vol-19/surah-ghashiyah-chapter-88
