In Surah al-Shura (42:15), Allah, Al-Jaami (The Gatherer), in this ayat, tells us that the “administration of justice is the consequence of belief in certain values, e.g. acknowledgement of the Path of Truth and the injunctions of the Messengers of God Almighty, turning away from lusts and vain desires, belief in standing at Divine Tribunal on the Day of Resurrection, and receiving recompense befitting one’s deeds.” It is of course Allah Al-Jaami who will administer the final justice on the Day of Judgement. “It is quoted from Tibyan that Mughayra asked the Noble Prophet (S) to desist from his call and he would grant half of his property to him in return. ‘Utba also asked the Noble Prophet (S) to desist from his call and he will marry his daughter to him. Thus, the blessed Verse was revealed.” Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala instructs Prophet Muhammad, peace and blessings be upon him and his family, to stand firm “to the tenets of his call” and not “submit to people’s unlawful demands.” He is told to “Say, ‘I believe in what Allah has sent down of the Book and I am commanded that do justice between you.” The ayat continues with the Prophet saying that Allah is the Sustainer of all of us and the deeds that we do are known by Him and we will all bear their consequences. He continues saying that I have given you the decisive arguments so there remains no argument between us and Al-Jaami will gather and assemble us all together for judgement.
