In Surah al-A’la (87:8-10), Allah, Al-Azim (The Magnificent), consoles Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) in these three ayats. While the path in front of him has many difficulties, Allah Subhanahu wa ta’ala will help him to receive the revelation, preserve it, communicate his Prophecy, fulfill his Prophecy and do good deeds. “In all of which Allah helps him and eases the problems for him.” “Wa Nuyassiruka lil’Yusra.” (And We will ease you to the ease.) Al-Hamdulillah! Allah Al-Azim is also ensuring us that Islam is easy to understand, follow and practise and there are no backbreaking duties in it. “Verily, if it were not for the help and success of Allah, the Prophet (S) could never win out over those many difficulties.” And neither can we. Then Prophet Muhammad’s (peace and blessings be upon him) greatest duty is to remind us. Those who fear Allah will benefit from his reminders. Inshallah. Our salvation comes from the Help of Allah when we have fear of Him and understand our responsibility toward Him.
